Ady's BiG Army exists to create meaningful work, deep belonging, and a culture of honor within a Christ centered community, revealing the God given worth, abilities, and purpose of every individual with disabilities while changing the way the world views disability. 2025 Donation: $70,000 2026 Donation: $25,000

Disability Rights & Resources

Disability Rights and Resources’ mission is to empower people with disabilities to fully participate in the community. We encourage people with disabilities to support one another in reaching their own independent living goals. We also promote equal access and disability rights through advocacy and public awareness activities.

Down Syndrome Alabama (DSA)

Down Syndrome Alabama envisions being the trusted, statewide resource that connects individuals with Down syndrome and their families to the people, programs, and opportunities that help them thrive across every stage of life.

Strengthens family stability by offering counseling, educational support, and practical services for children and caregivers.

Heidi's Kids

Heidi’s Kids brings our community together as a beacon of hope, providing food, comfort, and compassion to children and families facing difficult circumstances. Through kindness, service, and strong partnerships, they work to ease burdens, uplift lives, and give children the resources and support they need to create their own light. Rooted in the Greater Birmingham area, Heidi’s Kids is dedicated to strengthening children and families through compassionate service and meaningful partnerships with local schools and the community.

Hoover City Schools Foundation

Funds programs and resources that expand educational opportunities for students across Hoover City Schools. 2025 Donation: $50,000 2026 Donation: $800

Hoover Helps

Connects local families to emergency assistance, school support, and practical resources through trusted community collaboration. 2025 Donation: $48,600 2026 Donation: $48,600

Hoover YMCA

Hope for Autumn Foundation

Joyful Noise Foundation

Bringing music to special needs classrooms, with over 100 musical boxes donated to children who have never heard music before.

Libby’s Friends

Offers emotional and financial support for children and families impacted by critical illness and medical hardship. 2025 Donation: $30,000 2026 Donation: $83,000

Magic Moments

Grants joyful experiences to children with chronic life-threatening illnesses and supports families throughout the journey. 2025 Donation: $31,000 2026 Donation: $60,000

Manufacture Good

A ministry that trains, equips, and invests in young men in Birmingham, transforming lives through faith, work, and brotherhood. 2026 Donation: $100,000

Neighborhood Bridges Hoover

Smile-A-Mile meets families wherever they are on their cancer journey and walks alongside them through our year-round programs. 2026 Donation: $75,000

Unless U

Rooted in the Greater Birmingham area, Heidi’s Kids is dedicated to strengthening children and families through compassionate service and meaningful partnerships with local schools and the community. Unless U creates an inclusive environment rooted in Christ’s love, where every person is valued, celebrated, and empowered as an image-bearer of God. Through their work, they seek to transform the way society sees and supports adults with developmental disabilities. As a nonprofit, Unless U provides opportunities for adults with disabilities to grow academically, spiritually, physically, socially, and vocationally. Their programs foster independence, build confidence, and help each individual thrive in a supportive community.
